How to detect message format in VBS?

Here’s another question for the lounge. I have a VB Script that examines the incoming e-mail, makes a copy and routes the copy to the appropriate people. It works swimmingly for standard text, but when an RTF message comes in, it is sent out as plain text. I’d like to be able to preserve the format of the message. Bear in mind that I make a COPY of the message, so if I could detect what format the message is using and then have the copy reflect the format, that would be wonderful.
