Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
My Windows 7/Office 2016 PC was infected by Petyawrap last week. I’ve gotten innoculated, hardened and otherwise back up and running, but most of my Office .doc .xls and .ppt files are corrupted. But not all. I’m able to open some of them, but finding these among the thousands of corrupted files is needle in a haystack work. I’m looking for a utility that would do the searching for me.
Any suggestions?
