Recently had to reinstall Office 2010 from Microsoft using product key.  The download and subsequent install did not include all updates.  I manually downloaded SP 2 but do not know how to go about getting all needed updates since then.  Windows Update doesn’t find office updates and neither does wushowhide.  I have metered connection on because I have Creator’s update hidden…not sure if this inhibits WU from finding office updates.   I can probably go to Microsoft Office website and find a list but this will include years of them.  Basically would like to find all updates except those that have been superseded so minimize the number.    Any ideas?  Thank you!

      In Win10 1607
      Settings\Updates and Security\Advanced options
There is a check box “Give me updates for other Microsoft produces”

To quote the OP of this old thread:

“…I do think it is odd that patches for Outlook, Publisher and other products were installed even though I have the Home and Student version…”

Indeed .. which leads me to the following questions (also for Office 2010 Home & Student), as I am running out of space on my old (not easy to upgrade) PATA hard drive:

        1. Is it safe NOT to install updates not related to the core products included with H&S? Feature updates and/or security updates?  As of late, I have only updated Word, Excel and PowerPoint and hidden the rest (like Access, Outlook, Publisher, etc.).

        2. If safe, should (or could) I go back and uninstall all non-core updates?  Or would (could) that mess up my Office 2010 H&S installation?

I didn’t think about that.   I had trouble with checking that box earlier in the year but it is worth a try.   Thank you.

All up-to-date now through July 2017.   Although I do think it is odd that patches for Outlook, Publisher and other products were installed even though I have the Home and Student version which has only Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote.  Once upon a time I had Office Professional installed on this computer but no longer.   Maybe that’s why.   Thanks again.
