I do not have a secure router and anyone can get in. Linksys has not replied to three emails. Can anyone give me the steps to secure the router?

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

I’m the last guy who should be responding because I don’t have a wireless router, but I can’t help but wonder:
1) Has something happened to convince you that someone can get in?
2) Have you done the stuff in Chapter 2 of the user guide?
3) There’s also a bunch of stuff in Chapter 3 that goes over my head since I don’t have one, but have you been through that? -

Your link is broken – it’s pointing right back to this board and with no topic. -

Hi Preston,
Actually, now clicking on the link opens the correct site. Simply an error in your first post. -

Actually, now clicking on the link opens the correct site. Simply an error in your first post.Thank you all for the help. I printed out the “Securing Your Wireless Router” and will try to follow directions. I am not very savvy with this technical stuff. I hope I don’t screw it up!
Thanks again to everyone.
