You will need to make a bookmark for each quotation in the Word document.

Next, add a hyperlink field to the table that acts as record source of the form.

When you right click the hyperlink field (in the table, or in a query or on the form), you can edit the hyperlink. In the upper box, enter or browse for the name of the Word document. In the second box (you can’t browse here), enter the name of the appropriate bookmark.

Wouldn’t it be easier to put the quotations into the database?

        Hi HansV

I like the sound of your last sentence, but have tried to do this by copy and past into a memo or tex box, but includes all the formating as characters.

Or am I doing it all wrong?

        Look forward to your reply

When you paste text from Word into a text or memo field, all formatting (bold, italic, fonts etc.) should be lost, but paragraph/line breaks should convert OK. If you want to keep the formatting, you might use an OLE field and insert the text as Word object into it.
