    Hi Folks,
I’m using Visio 2003 standard edition.
Is there a way to apply a hyperlink to a shape so that I can follow it by directly clicking on the shape without having to right clicki n it and select the hyperlink from the dropdown menu?
This seems to be the recommended method but it seems to confuse everyone that tries to use it this way.

I don’t think a single left click will work (except in full screen view), but you can set up a double-click action: see this newsgroup thread.

Thanks Hans, I knew I could count on you.
I tried the double click action but this link has to go to an external document. I think the macro may be the way to go. Or I could just place instructions in the shape (tacky, I know but the people that are going to use this page are fairly unsophisticated).

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
