Is there an way to turn the mouse pointer into a very large arrow (larger than the normal mouse pointer) so it stand as out more when pointing to parts of a slide during a show? Can I create a bitmap for my own pointer?

      Hi gandalf,

Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel and doubleclick the Mouse icon. That is where you change your mouse settings. On the Pointer tab, you can choose between various pointer schemes. There is one called “Windows Standard Extra Large”, which you might want to give a try.
The pointers are obviously stored in files of the type *.ani and *.cur. You can see that, when you click the Browse button on that dialog. How you create such files, however, is beyond my knowledge.

Some projectors have the option of a large pointer, too.

I know that in the Resource Kit for Windows 95 there was a utility where you could design your own cursors/arrows etc. I haven’t seen it for a while. You might want to post a request on the software board – if you get a reply, let us know here!

      Cheers
