Is there a way to print individual Frames on a website when performing File, Print from the browser menu? I am using a banking website to print a report, but only want to capture the report. When performing a File, Print, IE7 is capturing the entire website. I have clicked my mouse on the report to “enable” the frame, but it doesn’t work. I’ve also looked at the Internet Options but cannot find any settings related to frame handling.

The webpage also has a separate Print link, which generates the report, but I have a user who wants to use the File, Print method if possible.

The frame settings are in File, Print, Options, but are grayed out.

Have you tried to highlight the report you want to print, then choose print selection? This is the way I do it.

Hi Ted – yes, this will work, but I was attempting to give the user the same function that she was using. Otherwise, she can use the Print link within the report. Thanks for the suggestion.

The site may use inline frames (s), which do not trigger IE’s frame options because they are really all part of a single page.
