Microsoft just posted a warning that it’s about to change the meaning of the different branches. I love it when that happens. Per Brandon LeBlanc: Now

Shouldn’t your SLOW item say that you’ll start getting the 19H2 (1909) test builds later this spring?

That’s an open question. At this point, all we know for sure is that, in the near term, Slow will be receiving 1903 betas.

In recent years, Microsoft has changed the names, branches, scheduling, lifetime, etc. etc. etc. of so many aspects of Windows so many times, that I can no longer decide whether this is due to sheer incompetence; to massive and widespread ADHD at the top of the company; or to a deliberate strategy to get customers to throw their hands up in despair. I used to think it was a symptom of the “MTV Generation,” but am no longer so sure.

      In a nutshell:

Slow and Rollup Preview are for 1903. Presumably at some point Slow will start getting builds of… we don’t know what.

      Fast is for 2003.

If you install a 2003 beta build and want to go back to 1903 or 1909, you have to wipe out your machine.
