My wife and I run a small group in our church and we want to use an email address that we can both access for contact with group members. My idea was to use IMAP for this purpose, and we have set up an email alias on one of the mailboxes our ISP provides. She uses OL 2007, and I am still on OL 2003. When I set up the IMAP account on my Outlook, it creates just an Inbox. When I set it up on hers, it creates folders for Drafts, Inbox, Junk, Sent and Trash.

I have Googled and seen advice here and here about using a Rule to move items after sending to the IMAP Sent folder, but how do I select that folder to move them to when I am creating the rule?

(As an alternative to using IMAP we could access the mailbox using POP3 instead and leave items on the server for a period, I know. Though if we did that, I suppose there would be no way of both seeing sent items.)

I may as well answer my own question. I don’t know why, but after a while the other folders showed up on my Outlook too, so I was able to select the folder to move the sent items to.
