Inbox colour formatting

Hi all: after just reading the latest Woody’s Outlook Tips (1:2), my long-simmering question seems appropriate. I have a number of colour formats applied to my inbox – 10 rules in addition to the standards (unread messages, etc.). Unfortunately, not all of the colours get applied. When I started adding more colour rules, earlier ones stopped working. I have double, triple-checked the conditions I’m applying inside the rules and they SHOULD work. Is there a maximum number of colour rules one can apply to the inbox?

32 is the overall limit, give or take a few, so you should be fine.

try rearranging the order, if a rule applies to more than one message the last one sticks (i think, could have it backwards)
