Does {includetext} limit the file types?
    {includetext} fails to support PDF.
If it’s the case, how to insert a pdf file into a DOCX?
    Thanks in advance.

Basically, INCLUDETEXT works with the file type that you can open in Word as listed in the Files of type dropdown in the Open dialog – Word documents, text files, HTML files, RTF files, etc.
PDF files cannot be opened in Word, so they cannot be used with INCLUDETEXT.

You can include a PDF file as an object in Word. Only the first page will be displayed, but the user can double-click the object to view it in their PDF viewer.
      To insert an object:
      – Activate the Insert tab of the ribbon.
      – In the Text section, click Object.
      – Click Create from file.
      – Click Browse…
      – Select the file, then click Insert.
      – If you want to create a link to the source file, tick the Link to file check box.
      – Click OK.
