Incorrect error messages (OE5)

Am running OE5. When clicking Send/Receive I frequently get an error message saying my server has unexpectedly terminated the connection and I cannot receive any messages. This is patently incorrect as I can still access the internet. I have to reboot. Any suggestions?

I also have a similar problem with OE5. When I click send, the ISP connection is lost; however, i can receive messages.
Also, the dial up doesn’t register my password and i have to retype every time. I’m told is a glitch of OE5, and have to live with it. what os do you have? i have w200pe. maybe is a compatibility problem.
