I am new here, and I would like to create a post containing one or more small images. Unfortunately, the symbol for inerting/editing an image is not very helpful, when inserting an image from File Explorer. I tried it but w/o success. Is there no other way that entering the source, which I understand being the path where an image is located for instance on my HD.

Thank you for your understanding. On other forums it is very much straight forward.

Normally there is a “Select File” box in the lower left corner for adding attachments. However, we are in the process of absorbing Windows Secrets Lounge, and things are not working properly. That is hopefully a temporary situation.

In the meantime, you can store the file(s) in a secure location (https:) such as Dropbox, and link to it.

      Sorry for this temporary inconvenience.

Adding attachments (pictures) has now been fixed. You should see a “Select File” box at the lower left of the entry box.

      Dear image, please insert yourself…

      Test

You should see a “Select File” box at the lower left of the entry box.

      Works as described, thanks.

Seems to attach not insert. I guess this is still an artifact of the transition.

        Wavy,

You should see a “insert into content”

        AW-select-file

Don't take yourself so seriously, no one else does 🙂

When you attach an image, there is a link to the right that says “insert.” Be careful – it inserts at your current cursor location, so set it in the right place.

Edit: Oops, @CADesertRat beat me to it.
