    I want to insert several pictures from a file and put one each in separate slides. I know I just saw a tip on how to do this easily but, of course, I can’t find it now when I need it.

      I’m probebly missing something, but couldn’t you just use the Photo Album feature in PowerPoint XP?

      Insert>Picture>New Photo Album

        You weren’t missing anything – I apparently was. Don’t use powerpoint much – didn’t even know about the photo album feature. Now I do, thanks to you. Have a great day.
