I recently bought an iPaq, and to synchronise it with my desktop installed Outlook 2002, which came with it (previously I was using Outlook 2000).
I wanted to be able to syncrhonise my home machine, so I also installed it on my home machine.
Tonight my wife logged on, and tried to start Outlook, and got a message saying that “Outlook is not installed for this user” or similar.
I have tried to reinstall Outlook several times now, and although it has told me that it has installed successfully it first continued to tell me that it was not installed “for this user”, even when I logged back on as myself; and now the Outlook.exe file seems to have been deleted from the system.
