I need to install the VQC2 video codec. I downloaded their XP version of the driver from the website http://www.vqti.com/viewquest_english/downloads.asp but the install seems to place the necessary files in the System directory, but not do anything else. How do I manually get Windows to recognize these codec??? In Win98, I was able to edit the System.ini file to add vidc.vqc2=vqdecode.dll but that doesn’t work in XP.
