Help. Through no apparent fault of my own, the Internet links in my Outlook messages no longer work. I’m running WinXP, IEv6, and the latest version of Outlook. If I click on a link in an e-mail message, nothing happens. If I’m lucky, I can look at the source code for the message and find the URL, but most of the time, I’m stuck. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you.

AskWoody LoungerFebruary 11, 2003 at 2:05 pm #652574Got the answer, courtesy of the good folks at PC Magazine. Several answers, actually:
1. Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 257464: Hyperlinks in an E-mail Message Do Not Work
or
2. At the Start menu’s Run dialog, enter
regsvr32 urlmon.dll /u
In the same dialog, then enter
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
Un-registering and re-registering this DLL often solves this problem.I hope this helps other folks, too.

Who needs to go elsewhere when the answers are found right here in the Lounge.
(Thanks for posting your solution, though!)
