Invert a Monitor

I’d like to support & hang a monitor from under a kitchen
cupboard. Kinda like the under cabinet CD/TV/Radio’s.
First, I’d need a method to invert the screen or, find a
model that is meant to be used in this manner. Any one
know of a soultion ?

Have you checked your video driver setup? – some will allow you to invert the image.

If you have a ‘TV out’ from your pc, why not use a TV – you would then have a dual-purpose screen.
There are plenty of LCD TV models available that allow you to invert the image – see this Sharp model for example.

Otherwise, you could check out your local store, which may be easier than trolling through manufacturers websites. My Dell display has a screw-on stand – I could quite easily take it off and put it back the other way up.

** Can you not add carriage returns when entering a post. It makes it difficult to read – and the Lounge has automatic line-wrapping if your sentence exceeds the width of the screen.

Thanks Leif. I looked at the site in your post and it looks like a better idea. Thanks again. As for the carriage returns, no problem. I’ll let the lounge take care of it. It’s just an old habit.

Why not consider a mechanical wallceiling mount such is used for hanging TVs in various places?

You can check them out in any number of places on line.
One is VIDEOMOUNT
Or another is MCM
Or just google for TV Mounts.

The Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP models that we use here can be rotated physically to portrait or landscape. The Nvidia software drivers supply a hotkey that can be used to flip the screeen display to any of the 4 orientations.
