Apple has determined that certain iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices may not power on due to a component that may fail. This issue only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured between October 2018 to August 2019.

If you believe you have experienced this issue, please use the serial number checker below to see if your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus is eligible for repair, free of charge….

      ? says:

my daughter’s 6s went funky the other day (power problems etc) just like the 4s did so she traded for an 11 2 camera, the three camera’s were out of stock. i guess with iphone planned obsolescence is part of the purchase price?

My borther bought a Nexus 5x ~3 years ago which died after a year+. My brother has been refused service and has to buy a new smartphone. At least Apple honors its older devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) with service and OS updates).
