..Microsoft’s initial plan was to limit extended support to three years after support end, but it appears that the company could extend support by another three years, making it six years in total.

Our colleagues over at Deskmodder report that the July security updates KB5015861 and KB5015862 include the required ESU licenses and keys to extend support beyond the first three years. The second extension would guarantee support of Windows 7 until January 2026…

Just curious:
Is this ‘false positive’ on “by” specifically, in any context;
so that “bye”, or “bygone”, or “Byzantine” all would trigger?
Also, is it case sensitive? So “Byzantine” would be OK?

If it wasn’t broken you could. As it is broken, don’t use “by”.

“Should” doesn’t fix the problem. But you can, by NOT using “by.”

Other than “by” chancing upon this thread, is there any way for a user to know about this issue before they use the problem word in a thread title?

Keep Running Windows 7 Safely for Years to Come  
Make Windows 10 look and work like Windows 7
