I want to upgrade my java virtual machine to the latest build, 3810. This is in accordance with Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-011. The security bulletin says I can get the update at the Windows Update site. The Windows Update site says it no longer provides updates for my version of Windows 98 (Hebrew Enabled) (this is a version of Windows 98 with an English interface but which supports Hebrew). The Win 98 Update site refers me to Windows 98 Downloads, but that site does not list the Virtual Machine download. When I try to use the new Windows Update site, I get automatically referred to the old Win 98 Update site.

AskWoody LoungerApril 27, 2003 at 12:00 am #671524What the homepage for this url says is: “These programs all work with Windows 9X operating systems. Some depend on that registry structure and as a result will not work properly with Windows XP. Iecache2.js and MSKB have displayed this problem. Those that are known to work with XP will display XP.”
I assure you that it will work with all flavors of Win9x as well as WinXp

AskWoody LoungerApril 27, 2003 at 5:46 pm #671590I really appreciate your help. I checked the homepage of that URL again and it was my oversite. I guess I was just in a bit too much of a hurry when I looked at it. I have downloaded and installed the Java Virtual Machine without any files. When I posted my problem, I was hoping there was a URL besides Microsoft where I could download the file. You came to the rescue.
