    Is there any reason why clickable images to other websites are removed in the forum either by the software setup or by a admin/moderator?

    I used an image (screen shot of a video section) in this post:

    This was this image:

    It pointed to a YouTube video and did what it was supposed to do after it was posted.
    Returning back to the forum, the image had been removed?

      Embedding YT links causes the link to load when the page loads and can cause long load delays and other problems – see this thread for an example.

      Excuse my ignorance, but how is using a clickable image (hosted on a third party image hosting site) embedding a YT video?
      Effectively you are just clicking the YT video link by clicking the image.
