Is it possible to justify text in a report textbox? I’d like to use Justify just like in Word, but the Distribute option does just that, it distributes the letters across all the line if it doesn’t have enough to fill the line.

      Yes:
      – Open the report in design view.
      – Select the text box (or text boxes) that you want to have justified text.
      – Activate the Format tab of the Properties window.
      – Set the Text Align property to Distributed.

Note: this doesn’t work as well as in Word. In particular, the last line in the text box is also justified.

That’s precisely what I don’t want is that last line being justified, but I guess I can live with it.

As far as I know there’s no setting that will prevent the last line from being justified.

Stephen Lebans has an ActiveX control that supports full justification (see XJustifyText) but you’d have to distribute it to all users, and it’s old (for Access 97); I haven’t tried it myself.

What I did finally was just add a period at the end of the line before the quotes. It’s not a high-end court document, and the dot is not real noticeable unless you have a critical eye. I tried using just spaces with the spacebar but that didn’t work. I saw Stephen Lebans Control but don’t really want to use it.

BTW, I really like the speed of the new server!!
