Macecraft is going open source with jv16 Power Tools starting this month.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.
We were all once "Average Users".

Sounds like good news to me.

For a number of years I used this and liked it. Not sure why they would do this other than their pay model isn’t selling of the shelves. I have to wonder if it is still a excellent tool or has it slipped? Right now all that link ask’s is your opinion on should it go open source. So people will say, hmmmm, should I pay for it or do I want it free. Kind of a no brainer for most folks.

I think it’s more a case of it becoming less relevant than anything.

Regardless of whether or not it’s still relevant (a never-ending debate), the last 2 iterations (2012 nad ,especially 2013) are a LOT faster than previousl ones.
