I bought the VIP package and upgrade two days ago. I have sent Macecraft numerous messages, opened a ticket, they never respond other than robotically. I have a folder for this product and I note that every single time I’ve upgraded I have had to battle them to get the license, going back to 2008. This software is regularly recommended in the newsletter. So I am hoping someone here has an idea. Their site forum says use Help to request license if you didn’t get it. Thread is locked. And the feature doesn’t work in the 2012 version I installed.

The Help feature doesn’t work, nor does live help – says I need VIP package for that. I bought that too. I’d like to know where this company has US property as I intend to file complaints with Visa, my bank and their BBB. Can anyone provide me with that address. I don’t need their Finnish site. The product has always worked great, but the support is non-existent and I’m tired of fighting them to get what I paid for two days ago and was promised the license for “within minutes”. Thanks for any help/advice. And that address. :^)

I take it that you didn’t get the license sent to you via email at the time of purchase?
(which is how they have alway traditionally transacted the license to the user)
Check your email filters, something is obviously not getting through.

Nope I never did get the license, and as I recall, I have never – I’ve got a folder full of emails and tickets going back to 2008. And I never did get a response this time either, but, when I tried the upgrade through the program again, as a last ditch effort, yesterday, it worked. So they’re still silent, but I am now licensed for the 2012 product. Sigh…

[TD=”class: kbcontents, colspan: 2″]Have you just made an order for jv16 PowerTools 2012 but you haven’t received your license?

      Here is what to do:

[*]Download the free trial version of the product, you can do it from here.
        [*]Install the product.
[*]After the Quick Tutorial and Initial Setup phases, use the Download My License feature from the Help menu of the Main Window.
[*]If this does not work, then send us a message!

Note: The Download My License feature is only available in the most recent build of jv16 PowerTools 2012 (version number: 2.1.0.1139 or later). If you are using an older version, please update by downloading the product again and installing it over the current installation.
All the licenses are sent out automatically by our servers. The licenses are delivered to the customers via an email message containing a download link to the license. However, sometimes the customer doesn’t receive this email, it can be, for example, be filtered by a spam filter.
