Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
It all started with KB4517211 which created a spooler problem, no problem deleted the update.
Next KB4524147 installed with the spooler problem fixed but no M$ created a even worse problem. Click on the Start icon & Windows asks for a reboot. Deleted update.
Now I have two problems, spooler & Start.
Tried my fixes including the Start troubleshooter…no go.
Finally restored from a restore point. (wasted time 4 hours)
