Is the subject a “real” CU or a “preview”? Patch Tuesday was 12/10 but according to the Update Catalog this KB was released on 12/9?
Thanks.

So, you’re saying that the Catalog dates cannot be trusted? That being the case, how does one determine if a CU was actually issued on Patch Tuesday, thereby signifying that it is NOT a “preview”? This whole update process could not be more complicated and confusing if Microsoft set out to do so.
Here is all of Microsoft’s information on Windows Security Updates. The Release date is 12/10/2019.
The Catalog shows the CU was last updated (date stamp is update NOT release) on 12/9/2019.
PKCano,
Thanks much for your last post. The info was very useful and I now better understand the data in the catalog. I was able to extract the web address for the Update History page from the link above the screen shot. I have saved this as a bookmark and can use it in the future to determine information about updates as issued, including the release date. I was formerly completely unaware of this web page.
