Is the subject a “real” CU or a “preview”? Patch Tuesday was 12/10 but according to the Update Catalog this KB was released on 12/9?

    Thanks.

KB4530715 is the Patch Tuesday Security Cumulative Update for Win10 v1809 Build 17763.914.
      It is not a Preview.

      Edit to correct Build #

OK, so why is it shown in the Catalog as being released on Monday, 12/9 and not on Tuesday 12/10?

So, you’re saying that the Catalog dates cannot be trusted? That being the case, how does one determine if a CU was actually issued on Patch Tuesday, thereby signifying that it is NOT a “preview”? This whole update process could not be more complicated and confusing if Microsoft set out to do so.

Thanks. I caught the error in the build number for 4530715 myself. The one quoted in a previous post was for the earlier update 4533205, I believe.

      PKCano,

Thanks much for your last post. The info was very useful and I now better understand the data in the catalog. I was able to extract the web address for the Update History page from the link above the screen shot. I have saved this as a bookmark and can use it in the future to determine information about updates as issued, including the release date. I was formerly completely unaware of this web page.

Where do you think I get all my p**P? 🙂
