KB5001716: Microsoft updated Windows 10 update UI so it doesn’t go out of fashion

..Microsoft also released something significant for Windows 10 as well. The company released an update to the Windows update service components which brings a new user interface (UI) functionality.

The release notes for the update are given below under KB5001716 and it applies to versions 2004, 20H2, 21H1, 21H2, and 22H2:

    Summary

This update includes a new user interface (UI) functionality for Windows Update in Windows…

You know, I remember the push Microsoft made aggressively shoving windows 10 down everyone’s throat when it first came out. Its not so much what you do but how you do it. Windows is good for some things but, all things considered, I’m just going to go full time with Linux. If it aint broke, why fix it? And you can say its to protect us against the latest threats but, there a little more encoded in there than just that.
