kb5012170 — secure boot

It seems that this update kb5012170  is connected with “secure boot” but my computer is a legacy BIOS —  and this update failed — why is this update being deployed to computes that don’t support  secure boot?

With a few exceptions as there are about four models as I recall that it’s not being offered to, it’s being sent to all computers.  https://www.askwoody.com/2022/master-patch-list-for-august-30-2022/

note that the KB5012170 update is also available for Windows 11 22H2 (yes, even with the Win11 “2022” update) as well and Microsoft seems to be recently “pushing” the KB5012170 update to some Win11 22H2 systems as noted in this Neowin article.
