Keywords?? (FrontPage 2000)

I’m a Web newbie – and feeling like one. I’d like to add a list of words to be picked up by a search engine. I thought they were called keywords, but I’m not having any luck finding references in help files and indices. Where and how do I make my list?

Ena, what you need are meta tags. Some search engines employ them to assist with the search process. One place to get some help is here. all sorts of useful information about getting search engines to find your site. Another way of getting tags is to find an interesting web site, then click View, Source on your browser. This will copy the code which you can then look at to work out the tags. Hope this helps.

I’m sure you’ll find all you need at the site MikeB suggested, but just to add another I have here at – plus on this page they have a feature to scan your site and report back on what tags it has found.
