I’ve been using Java in Base for an external JDBC and thus more reliable database.
The recent Java update broke access to it. LO reports it as “defective”.
I checked online and LO indicates there will be a fix in the 5.0 update. When??
There was also mention of MS Visual C++ 2010 fixing the problem but it was already installed and hasn’t. The issue seems to be the location of a dll.

Just checking in case anyone has discovered a short term fix. My database is inaccessible meantime and I’d rather not roll back Java.
