Limit on comments? (2000 SP-3)

Hi,

A colleague is using the Insert > Comments feature to review a document. The document is protected for comments. After about 10 comments, his PC crashes and he can’t save the file. I looked through the Microsoft Knowledgebase for information about limits on comments, but I couldn’t find anything. Does anyone know if there is a limit on comments?

If there is a limit, it’s certainly not around 10, and it shouldn’t make his PC crash. Some questions:
– Is his PC low on memory?
– Does he have a large number of other applications open simultaneously?
