I am importing a few thousand contacts into an Outlook Address book. The address book will be used by about 50 people.
    What are the limitations on:
1: the number of concurrent users
2: the size of Public folders
3: the amount of information that can be stored in a “Notes” field in a Contact

      1) none, but the more concurrent, the slower access might be. it depends on your network
      2) it’s dependant on the exchange version – at least 16,000, probably 65,000 to unlimited contacts. KB-wise, limited only by the size of the database.
      3) i forget if there is a limit, if so it’s like 1024 characters, but i don’t think there is unless you are moving items from a Unicode store to ANSI. (Ol2003) Copy text from a word document and see how much you can paste – then count the characters using Word’s word count toolbar. grin
