Links randomly not working correctly in IE9

I have been having a problem in that my IE9 does not go to a link I’ve just pressed.

If I capture the actual link and copy it into the site box, then hit enter, it works fine, it just doesn’t seem to want to do it automatically.

Come to think of it, I have the same problem with some html Outlook messages. Again, if I place it into the browser window, works fine.

Any thoughts????

When I click the link, it invokes a new tab in IE9, but then just sits there and does nothing.

This seems to be a situation that occurs for some users and I have seen different advice, applied with different degrees of success.

Maybe the first try should be resetting the secuirty zones to their default values. To do that, choose the Tools->>Internet Options, then Security tab and click “Reset all zones to default”. Does this help?

Maybe try it if the first one does not work.
