I am working on an Excel 97 workbook that is quite large and has 7 interlinked sheets in it. Someone modified the workbook and whatever they did has created a link to another workbook. This link is causing some major problems and we need to get rid of it. Can anyone tell me how I can either locate the cell where the link is originating or just remove the link?

I wanted to let you know that I found a way to locate and remove the link. I downloaded a utility called “FindLink.zip”. It works great.

OK. Was about to refer you to this thread, and it’s predecessors. Also, to reset links from the wrong File to the correct File (and retain the link(s)), use Edit, Links, Change Source.
