I have three PC’s all version 1809 same build number.  Two of the computers on the lock screen it shows you where in the world the displayed picture it taken.  One of the computers it doesn’t.  Any idea why I can’t see where the picture was taken on the one computer?  I’ve tried Googling for a solution or setting, but haven’t had any luck.  Thanks in advance.

Go to All Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.  Under “Background”, “Windows spotlight” should be selected.  A bit further down is “Get fun facts, tips, and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen”, and that slider should be set to “On”.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.
We were all once "Average Users".

bbearren, I have Widows Spotlight selected, but further down, I do not see the “Get fun facts, tips and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen”.

b, I do not have to press “control/alt/delete to log on.  Just select the user.

On the computer which does not show the “Like what you see?” for location, is Ctrl-Alt-Del required to unlock for sign-in?

PMFJI, but I’m another user in the same state, and the answer is “no,” but I also have the computer set to log me in automatically without a password, as it’s my main desktop in my house.

I think the potential solutions listed here would be worth trying:

I followed the instructions and ran the batch file and did not see anything different.

It said it could take 24 hours so i will let you know in a day or 2

Using the option 3 did not cure the problem. No problem it was nice but i can live without it.
