Have an ancient DOS one that doesn’t handle LFN’s. Anyone know of a reasonably standalone W95+ util to change a files’ date and time? (By reasonably standalone I mean only that it’s not part of an enormous File Explorer replacement shell; integration into File Explorer would be nice.)

I had a freeware type called ‘Properties Plus’, but I do not have a link to it.

I had posted this information on the “OLD” lounge be for it got lost. More I use this lounge the more I am going to miss the old information that was posted. But life goes on.

Thanks, Leif and Dave. After wading through a jillion Real Estate finds, here’s Property Plus.

          Snap!
I found it at #3 using Google with a search of:
“properties plus” AND software (including the “”)

The version of Properties Plus in the link I previously posted seems to have a munged install, but here is a better link: Properties Plus

              John,
Thanks for doing the search and post of the link. Now I have a copy that I can install in Windows 2000.

Let us know if you have the same install problem I had (my Post 16991).

I gotta go to Google more. (I just like the way that sounds.)

        • #515546

          Thanks, John. Thanks, Leif.
I wonder why Dave couldn’t do that!

Nothing to do with his hair colour, I trust…

The second link I posted is to the author, but the version there still gave me installation problems. For some reason the dll was not extracting from the WinZip (resulting in a grayed out “Setup” button), so I pulled it out with PKZip, stuck it into the c:windowstemp directory and it installed.

Works nicely, does what I want.

I also waded through a jillion Real Estate finds, and then I had to head for the dentist’s office. I need to keep my teeth, so I can fight of those warts I earn once in a while.

Ah well in that case you are completely off the hook!

Will you pay the bill also? By the way there are NO xrays today, but will be a full set in June.
              Thanks,
