Macro to Import Fixed Width Files

I want to automate using a macro importing and exporting fixed width text files. Access Help is fairly straightforward with the exception of the section

Hi Roberta,

You’ll need to manually import the text file once. When the Import Text File Wizard launches, you’ll see an “Advanced…” button on the bottom left. Once you set the field widths, names, and data types, you can click the advanced button for more options – including the option to save the Spec.

I believe this is a little easier than worrying about a Scheme.ini file (for most situations). Once you have the Spec saved, automation is fairly easy, either with a macro or code.
