This tip is for Windows 11 users that:

Have a Local account
Do not want to setup or use a Microsoft account on the PC
And
Want startup or restart directly into Windows without entering as password each time

The explanations and instructions are in the attached PDF.

I also added the PasswordlessAccess.reg file for download for those who wish that method.

Dana,

Rather that make it password less, I use SysInternals AutoLogon utility. That way the account still has a password but it is automatically entered at boot. You do, however, have to enter it if you get to the lock screen.
