I am certain I’ve heard of a function in PowerPoint where you could take a bullet slide and auto-expand it to a create a series of slides, one with each bullet as the title. Can’t find it for the life of me, though. Maybe I’m dreaming. Anyone have any idea if this is possible?

Do you want to keep your original bulleted list or did you want to quickly make independent slides for each bullet rather than having to retype?

If you want to break up a list into separate slides go to the outline pane and insert your cursor at the end of each bulleted text

Press the promote (make sure it is not the demote) button on the tool bar. This will take that bullet and any bullets after it onto a new slide. The bullet that was promoted will be the title. Repeat to break up the rest of the list.

I suspect you’re thinking of the “expand slide” option.

This was a feature available in PPT 97, but it was discontinued in subsequent versions. http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00411.htm%5B/url%5D has some code you can use to replicate its function, though.

It figures that the option is no longer available.
        Thanks for the tip.
