I’m still on Win7 (I’m a last adopter). And I’ve been using IrfanView since Win95 (Hi, MOM). But I miss Picasa. It was the best for my low-tech photo needs. Are there any for-dummy alternatives for simple organizing and tweaking of photos? Until I find one, IrfanView is also my weapon of choice.

      Thanks again.

It’s still available on the web and the download appears kosher – matches my stored copy. Make sure it’s signed by Google – right click, Properties, Digital Signatures.

        cheers, Paul

          Thank you!

But, considering the hazards of out-of-support programs, is it safe to keep the old one running?

Darn shame how Google kills good programs. It was great for organizing and tweaking pics; and for uploading them to Google Photos.

I am still using Picasa.  It works as well as ever, no problems.

I also use Picasa without issue.
