I was going to complain that every [but infrequent!] time I go to a site that needs IE/Java edge “forgets” that I OK’ed that.  I just did it again and noticed that there was no site “enabled”.  I enabled my site [again :o)] and noticed that it claims it’ll clear the site-IP in a month.  That answers my question about why I keep having trouble but brings up the question: is there a way to tell Edge that I want that site to be *permanently* allowed to open in IE mode?

I kept poking around and i blundered into a workaround.  I’m assuming that my allowed URL will expire in a month, as promised.  BUT: I discovered that the edge menu includes “reopen page in IE mode”.  I think that come March I’ll just do that.
