If Netscape Communicator is set as the default mail software, is there a way to change that default to Outlook while keeping Navigator as the default browser — that is, without reinstalling Outlook?

Try control panel > internet applet. On the programs tab, set outlook to be the mailer. mailto’s will probably not call up outlook if clicked on a webpage in Netscape. You need to do some tweaking of Netscape files for that. (I don’t have the tweak steps handy as i don’t use netscape)

Just back from vacation. Thanks for the tip, Mary. Never thought to look there before 🙂
