Anyone else had this problem? Tried to buy Malwarebytes Prem. Got red print screen that had “credit card error, card not charged, try later or use another card.” 2 seconds later got text from bank fraud dept asking ok reply yes, fraud reply no. Called fraud dept and they said did not go through probably because sometimes the origin is from someplace like Hong Kong where a lot of fraud originates. Called card processor and they no help. Called Malwarebytes and they said their processor does credit card for lots of companies and that I had to authorize the charge with the text for it to go through.
So here is the quandary. If Malware says card not charged and after that I text ok then how do I know it was accepted or if I go back and resubmit whole thing will I be charged twice. If I text No then that processor will never work again and might cause my card to be locked.
Why is a PC security company, Malwarebytes, using a payment processor that the bank is suspicious of? Kind of ironic!
I have never had this problem with my card, including Woody Plus that I just paid a few days ago and which transaction went through smoothly with no problems.
The bottom line, although I like the Malware product, having to go through such a dubious payment system is just not worth it.
