I am running outlook 97/98 on Windows 98. Previously, a few days ago, when I have a contact open and click on the “map” icon (as shown below) it would go to mappoint.com and display a map of the address. Now, however, it goes to expedia.com for the map. Is there an outlook or registry setting I can change to make it go to mappoint.com again?

I’m curious whether this is a change on your computer that you can control or whether it is on Microsoft’s end. Do you store your browser history for a few days? If you open Internet Explorer’s History pane and go back to last week and try to go to a MapPoint link, does it go there or forward to Expedia?

Don, I’d be inerested if you get n answer to your question. I have a similar
      problem and posted this one:

Prior to installing one of the latest security updates, when clicking on the
“Display map of address” inside a contact, I would get a Mapquest map of
the location in the Contact. Now that I have installed the security update
I get sent to a microsoft page. Is there a cure for this or was it a MS ploy
to get more page “hits” ?

It might be that the agreement between Mapquest and MS expired and MS elected to use their own site.
