If a delegate responds to a meeting request for their supervisor, is
it possible for the supervisors meeting request email be deleted? Now
if the supervisor responds to a meeting the email is deleted by
Outlook, but not by the delegate.

Jane, would you please re-phrase the request, maybe broken down into steps?

1.Supervisor has delegated permission to asst to respond to meeting requests
2 Both the supervisor and the asst get an email requesting attendance at a meeting
3.Asst accepts or declines a request
4.The email that the supervisor got is not deleted after the asst responds.

If the supervisor were to respond to the request, the email would automatically be deleted.

The supervisor would like for Outlook to remove the email request if the asst responds.

Which version of Outlook are you on? I don’t have access to Exchange and any delegated permissions, but on Outlook 2003, on the delegators PC, check all settings under Tools | Options | Delegates | select the delegate | Permissions.

I checked all of the permissions — looked fine and the asst has been granted permission to Send on behalf of the supervisor in Active Directory.

      Any other ideas.
