OK, I’m trying to help a friend over the phone get her menus back but when I have her try all of the normal ALT combinations to bring up the “customize” screen they either don’t respond at all or in the case of ALT + T it brings up the View menu, looks like it’s the one under TOOLS OPTIONS but it’s only displays the view tab (see attached). She tried to reload but it didn’t help the problem. A fix would be great but at this point a work around would be welcomed. I searched previous post without any luck.

Great Hans and Thank You Phil! Can you tell me how you searched to find this post or did you know about it already?

          Hi Greg,

In this case, I knew that Phil had written a trouble-shooting guide and that it had been awarded a Star. So (in the Word Forum), I clicked Search, left the “Search for” box empty, and selected “Star Post” from the “Search Options” dropdown list. Phil’s post was easily recognizable in the resulting list of Star Posts.

Thanks for the additional “driving lesson”, we’ll get into parallel parking in the future.

And some of us just memorize 197827, 197827, 197827…..
(My guess is that’s the most oft referred to post in all of LoungeDom)
