Is anyone familiar Microsoft Access Version 2002 Inside Out by Helen Feddema? I know Woody gave it a good review. I am presently using Access 2000. Are there many changes betwee 2000 and 2002 that would make this book not applicable to use with 2000? Any similiar books on Access 2000 anyone could recommend?

Helen’s stuff is usually well wriiten.

For serious Access work, one should also have Ken Getz books see http://www.developershandbook.com.

Today, I learned Ken Getz, Paul Litwin, and Andy Baron have authored Access Cookbook (ISBN: 0596000847), due for publication this month.

We received our copy a day or two ago – so far I’m impressed. For the most part is at an intermediate level, although some of the sections do get quite a ways under the covers. It appears that nearly all of it applies to both 2000 and 2002, and it has lots of practical hints and tips related to good design practice and to trouble shooting. The latter is an art unto itself. I think Woody was spot on – and I like the InsideOut stylistic approach. This is the first I’ve seen and I think it is a good approach for many people. I would certainly also recomment the ADH noted in the other post, and there are several other good Access 2000 books from Que, Sybex and Sams.
