Cynically enough MS has not really admitted to stealing the code themselves. Note how Peter says they had contracted a third party to do the code and how THEY stole it. Of course they say they didn’t catch it in their code review process, but in their eyes they’re guilty for not being careful enough in their code review but not for actually STEALING anything, that’s why he’s trying to get away with “Not intentional on our part”.
